Did you know that this photo is of a girl that’s dead? It’s true she’s held up by a pole and full of saw dust. This particular corpse had it’s eyes pecked out by crows also, so those are actually goat eyes.

Not this crap again……
YES, post mortem photography was a thing during the victorian era, NO, not every photograph from that time are dead people. Also during the later victorian era (which this is from) the “life-like” posing of the deceased fell out of fashion.  
Also, this is what a goat’s eye looks like….
